What is the MidWinter Advance?
*Don't call it a retreat because we're moving forward!TM
The MidWinter Advance is a high-energy winter youth retreat* EXPERIENCE focused on bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to today's youth.
It is held at Refreshing Mountain, in Stevens PA, which offers a huge assortment of indoor and outdoor activities.
The weekend is lead through teams of students from numerous Christian Organizations and Colleges as a part of their recruiting, training, or missions efforts. The teams, usually ranging from ten to fifteen in number, engage the youth in fellowship, testimony, sports, games, and a combination of skits, scripture, and worship.
